Strenx® steel is setting a new standard in high performance for the lifting sector

Strenx® aims to set a new standard in high-strength, high-performance steel. Specially manufactured for customers who expect the best in terms of performance, quality and strength, it meets the needs of the lifting sector for strong and safe yet light and sustainable structures.

Strenx® steel can make lifting equipment more competitive through increased reach, both upwards and outwards. Smart design utilizes its high yield strength to achieve greater performance without compromising on the high levels of personal safety required by lifting equipment. This can be done without making the complete unit too heavy for the roads it travels on.

From 600 to 1300 MPa

Strenx® steel brings great benefits – lower weight, reduced fuel consumption and higher reach – to demanding lifting applications.

It delivers one of the world’s widest ranges of structural steels in terms of strength and dimensional range, at 600 to 1300 MPa. It also comes in a variety of thicknesses, from 0.7 to 160 mm. With its superior workshop properties that allow for bending and forming into demanding shapes, it opens possibilities for innovative, advanced designs. And its consistent quality and high tolerances help contribute to accurate, cost-efficient production.

Strenx® steel grades offer thicknesses from 0.7 to 160 mm and strength levels of 600-1300 MPa.

Design and production efficiency can reach new levels when pre-bent parts, open sections or hollow sections are used in metal construction. The great variety of steel sections gives good rigidity and enables optimization.

A workshop wonder

Both workshop and mechanical properties are the result of rigorous product and process development that aim to meet the everyday demands of designers and lifting equipment alike. The built-in properties of Strenx® steel grades help boost workshop efficiency, cut total production time and ensure a smooth production flow.
