We have tweaked the alloying recipe and created Toolox® 46 with improved performance in hot work tooling applications. It has a hardness of 430-490 HBW and the same easy machining properties as other Toolox® products. Get in touch if you like to try it!
Toolox® 46
Toolox® 44 is a prehardened steel highly suitable forhigh-performing machine part and tooling of all sizes and shapes. The steel’s cleanliness, low carbide content and vibration dampening properties all work together to provide excellent machinability and reduced wear on tool inserts even in the fastest and most powerful CNC machines.
Toolox® 44
Toolox® 33 is used in a wide variety of machine components and tooling. The steel will not deform even after extensive machining to create complex shapes. It’s has equal hardness throughout the material and high impact toughness for reliable usage under the most demanding conditions The low carbon and alloy content make hot cutting suitable. Giving the possibility to cut closer to final shape before machining.
