SSAB announces price increases

SSAB EMEA is raising its prices for hot rolled, cold rolled and galvanized coil, as well as heavy plate. Prices are being increased by at least SEK 300 per tonne. The price increases apply to all orders acknowledged after December 5th, 2012.

“There has been a perceptible decline in steel prices during 2012. The price increases that we are now making reflects the development in the market. The trend going forward will depend on market demand and the supply of steel”, says Rinaldo Baldi, Head of Sales SSAB EMEA.
