SSAB’s Head of Human Resources, Anna Vikström Persson, will be leaving the company on February 28, 2011 to take up an equivalent position at Sandvik AB. SSAB has begun a process for recruitment of a successor.

SSAB, together with Peab and bridge manufacturer Hjalmarssons, has delivered the world’s first bridge built using SSAB Zero™ steel. SSAB is expanding its facility for steel powder for additive manufacturing in Oxelösund, enabling production at commercial scale, strengthening SSAB’s position in advanced materials, and meeting growing demand for high-performance metal powders for 3D printing. Production is planned to be gradually ramped up from the first quarter of 2028, with a capacity of approximately 350 tonnes per year.
