Anders Werme on temporary sick leave

April 24, 2006 14:35 CEST

As a consequence of an excessive work load, SSAB Tunnplåt’s President, Anders Werme, will be working a reduced schedule for a period of time. Thus, until further notice he is vacating his position as President of SSAB Tunnplåt. For such time as this change is in force Anders Werme will, instead, assist SSAB’s CEO, Olof Faxander, in strategic and development work at Group level. Göran Carlsson, SSAB’s technical director, will serve as acting President of SSAB Tunnplåt during this period of time. - I’ve decided to take things a bit slower. It’s unfortunate to have to lighten the load in the midst of the transformational work that SSAB Tunnplåt is undergoing. But I will support Göran Carlsson and Olof Faxander in their work to the best of my ability, says Anders Werme.
