Mikael Nyquist New President of Tibnor Mikael Nyquist has been appointed new President of Tibnor with effect from 1 January, 2003. He replaces Sven Bergman who has been President of Tibnor since 1988 and will retire in 2003. Mikael Nyquist is today President of Plannja , the building sheet company of the SSAB Group. Mikael Nyquist, born in 1963, is Master of Engineering, graduate from The Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. Before his position at Plannja he has been Manager of Marketing and Sales at SSAB Tunnplåt and President of the Swedish Institute of Steel Construction. New President pro tem of Plannja from 1 January 2003 is Jan Hedlund, today Manager of Administration at Plannja. - Under the management of Sven Bergman Tibnor has had the benefit of developing very successfully, says Anders Ullberg, President and CEO of the SSAB Group in a comment. We are now very pleased that Mikael Nyquist accepts to take over as president of Tibnor, Anders Ullberg continues. Mikael Nyquist has done a very good job as President of Plannja, today the most profitable company within the SSAB Group. During his years with SSAB he has also acquired a solid knowledge of steel and steel trade and last but not least the building industry that is of great importance for Tibnor. Tibnor is the leading Swedish steel trading company with a range of commercial steels, special steels, pipes and stainless steels. Metals and building-related products supplement the product range. The Tibnor sales in 2001 amounted to SEK billions 6,5.
