Updates for PileWallCalc design tool

December 01, 2025 9:34 CET
PileWallCalc design tool has been updated. Some of the updates are minor bug fixes in user interface, but there were also two larger updates included.

Adding of basic Eurocodes

PileWallCalc allows calculations according to National Annexes of eight countries: Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, UK, The Netherlands, Poland and Italy. Starting from latest version number 7.1.0.0 also the basic Eurocodes without any specific National Annex has been added.

When selecting basic Eurocodes, the partial factors and other NDPs (Nationally Determined Parameters) have been set to the default values of the Eurocodes. This selection allows calculations to those countries where no local National Annexes have been released and to those countries where the default values of the Eurocodes are in use.

Available pile sizes for RD pile walls

The Design and installation manual of the RD pile wall was recently updated. One of the updates was considering the available pile sizes for RD pile walls. Now this new selection of available pile sizes has also been implemented to PileWallCalc. The table of the available pile sizes is shown in the Figure below.
