Loaders, dozers and graders in Hardox® wear plate

For earthmoving equipment like loaders, you can extend the wear life more than three years with a material selection optimized for its use.

Hardox® wear plate makes an excellent choice thanks to its unique combination of hardness and toughness. Cutting edges, outer shells, main wear plates and lip shrouds can be upgraded using Hardox® 400, Hardox® 450 and Hardox® 500. For lip shrouds Hardox® 550 and Hardox® 600 also make excellent material alternatives allowing for an even longer maintenance interval and service life.

Wear components in the main blades and bolt-on blades of dozers and graders will last longer when Hardox is used as a benefit from upgrading using Hardox® 400, Hardox® 450 and Hardox® 500 as replacement material.

Articulated savings

In this scenario 2,250 kg of Strenx® 700 and Hardox® 400 high-strength steel replaces 3,000 kg of conventional steel with 355 MPa strength, reducing the weight of these parts by 25%. In addition we also upgrade the liner package of approximately 1,500 kg from a 400 HBW steel to Hardox® 500, which doubles the time between replacements to 8,000 hours.
