Design and installation manual for RD® pile wall

Design and installation manual for RD pile wall has been facing quite significant update. There are several important changes and additions in new version of the manual.

-One large update relates to terminology. In this new version, term “interlock” has been replaced with more correct term “connector”. With this new terminology, the manual is more in line with EN standards.

-Also a reference to EN 12063, the execution standard for pile walls, has been added. This reference together with explaining text clarifies the roles and applications of two execution standards, EN 12063 and EN 1090-2, with retaining walls.

-Together with above reference to execution standard, also application of execution classes (EXC) with RD pile walls has been explained.

Beside these important updates there have been several small updates, i.e.:

-Resistance value tables have been updated to follow latest calculation method for local buckling in cross-section class 4.

-Augmented Reality content and links to AR application have been removed, the application is no longer available for mobile devices.
