Escalating threats to residential, commercial, and industrial buildings increases the demand for innovative and reliable security measures. Armored doors are high on the list of preferred solutions. Tecno Safety has managed to make such doors with excellent resistance to break-ins, bullets and drilling, while at the same time cut weight by around 50% compared to conventional steel doors.
Protection with ballistic certification
With Armox® steel from SSAB, a level 3 door from Tecno Safety weighs approximately 150 kg – equivalent to a solid wood door – while maintaining superior ballistic protection and providing easier handling, installation and daily use. All SSAB plates have a ballistic certificate, ensuring that the material has been tested, approved and certified for use in this ballistic application.

A decades-long partnership with SSAB
“I have a long history with SSAB and its armor steels Armox® and Ramor® in the protection market,” says Felipe Masetti, technical director of Tecno Safety. “I have customers who made doors 12, 15 years ago and I’ve never had a single complaint.
