    General Product Description

SSAB M53 is a micro-alloyed steel grade for quench- and press hardening, developed to suit several applications and segments, with agriculture as an example. Fine-grain micro-structure prevents formation of hardening cracks. The degree of hardness and toughness that can be achieved after heat-treatment will provide end products with a wear- and shock resistance ratio that ensures longer lifetime. Economical and environmental friendly alternative for carburized and triple layered materials.
