SSAB Zero™ steel is made using recycled steel and fossil-free energy.
The SSAB Zero™ EPDs and Certificate of Carbon Emissions is available on ssab.com. The availability of SSAB Zero™ products is subject to limitations and conditions of delivery have to be agreed upon separately.
SSAB DC01 Zero is a mild steel intended for forming with good properties in both drawing and stretch forming operations. SSAB DC01 Zero is used for a wide variety of applications including vehicle parts, refrigerators, electric radiators and water radiators.
SSAB DC01 Zero meets the requirements of DC01 in EN 10130.
SSAB DC01 Zero / UC: thickness 0.40-3.00 mm, width up to 1530 mm.
Slit strip and cut to length sheets are available upon request.
1) The values of yield strength are 0.2 % proof strength for products which do not present a definite yield point, and the lower yield strength ReL for the others. When the thickness is less than or equal to 0.7 mm and greater than 0.5 mm, the value for yield strength is increased by 20 MPa. For thicknesses less than or equal to 0.5 mm, the value is increased by 40 MPa.
2) For design purposes the lower limit of Re for grade SSAB DC01 Zero may be assumed to be 140 MPa. The upper limit of Re of 280 MPa for grade SSAB DC01 Zero is valid only for 8 days from the time of the availability of the product.
SSAB DC01 Zero
Thickness tolerances corresponding to EN 10131, narrower tolerances are available if agreed upon at the time of order.
Customized dimensional and shape tolerances are available upon request.
Uncoated (UC): available as oiled.
All surface treatments are in accordance with RoHS directive (2011/65/EU) and do not contain Chromium VI (Cr6+). Surface treatments provide only temporary surface protection during transportation and storage. In order to avoid corrosion damages, care must be taken to keep the products dry during transportation and storage. If they become wet, they must be separated and situated so that they are dried quickly.
Cold Rolled.
