Durability is key for a jaw crusher bucket that operates in the toughest environments. MB has been using Hardox® wear plate for more than 20 years and knows that it meets the most extreme challenges.

The entire body of the crusher bucket is manufactured with Hardox® 400, an abrasion-resistant steel which is both hard and tough. Hardox® steel has such consistent properties that its tolerances are even stricter than what’s specified in the EN 10029 standard. The result? A crusher bucket which can withstand many years of operation and still stay in good shape.

“It looks like new. No downtime, nothing to replace.”

Arne Åkesson is a Swedish contractor who has been operating an MB BF90.3 crusher for several years. He uses it mainly for crushing concrete in demolition work. “It just works. There is practically no visible wear, it looks like new. No downtime, nothing to replace. I couldn’t ask for more,” says Åkesson.

Innovative crusher bucket design for higher capacity

When the MB BF90.3 was patented and launched in 2001, it was a major innovation. It opened opportunities for a more flexible use of existing equipment, whether a crawler track excavator, skid loader, front or backhoe loader. An MB crusher bucket fits like any other standard attachment and is powered by the machine’s ordinary hydraulic system. MB’s range of crusher buckets has grown substantially from the first MB BF90.3 with a capacity of 0.9 m3 (1.18 yd3). Now the crusher buckets are available from a handy 0.15 m3 (0.2 yd3) to an impressive 2.3 m3.(3 yd3).
