SSAB brings Armox® 500 AM Powder to the Eurosatory Defense and Security tradeshow on June 14–19, 2026 — demonstrating how Armox® 500 AM Powder and 3D printing can create protection where armor plates are not optimal.
SSAB is expanding its facility for steel powder for additive manufacturing in Oxelösund, enabling production at commercial scale, strengthening SSAB’s position in advanced materials, and meeting growing demand for high-performance metal powders for 3D printing. Production is planned to be gradually ramped up from the first quarter of 2028, with a capacity of approximately 350 tonnes per year.
SSAB launches its Strenx Certified Fabricator network in the Netherlands. This network is designed to recognize and promote excellence in high-strength steel fabrication.
