The South African OEM Transpec builds a Hardox® In My Body certified XMOR® tipper body for Scania’s new XT mining trucks.

Productivity in every detail
Transpec’s XMOR® tipper body for the Scania XT truck is 20% lighter, and can bring up to 10% increased productivity and 5% fuel reduction compared to a traditional tipper body. This is the result both of an optimized design for efficient loading, hauling and dumping, and from using Hardox® wear plate in the entire structure of the body.
The XMOR® tipper body has several design features which improve handling and safety. Its large canopy gives good protection against load falling during loading and transport. Dumping reliability and safety is improved with the mechanical tailgate. A strong stabilizer between the chassis and the body secures the position of the body for stable performance during operations.
The hardness and toughness of Hardox® also makes the body highly wear resistant and durable. This gives exceptional service life, in many cases up to 30% longer than a conventional AR steel. This of course minimizes the costs for maintenance and maximizes uptime.

A productive partnership
