The Canadian Standards Association (CSA) specification G40.20/G40.21 covers structural quality steel of a number of different product forms. SSAB produces structural quality plates and sheet in accordance with CSA G40.20/G40.21 with specified minimum yield strengths of 38 ksi to 70 ksi. CSA 70W is a weldable steel with a specified minimum yield strength of 70 ksi for thicknesses up to 2.5 in.
Thickness: Please inquire plate thicknesses greater than the listed maxima.
Width: Please inquire for plate widths less than 72 in. and inquire plate product over 120 in.
Length: Please inquire for plate lengths less than 240 in. and for lengths greater than the listed maximum.
Tensile testing is performed in the tranverse direction. The required tensile properties are tabulated below:
