PileWallCalc, the design program for SSAB steel retaining walls has renewed totally. The new version of the program is web-based application and it doesn’t require any installations to workstation.
The program calculates the bending resistances, normal force resistances and shear force resistances of SSAB’s RD pile wall (DTH drilled pipe pile wall), Combi wall and Zig-Zag Combi wall. Calculations are done according to Eurocode design standards and they cover the National Annexes of several countries. Antti Perälä is responsible for the project support on installation and design of SSAB pile products. Antti has Master's degree in structural engineering and has many years of experience in structural engineering and geotechnical design. In his daily work, he also holds seminars for customers and designers both in Finland and elsewhere in Europe. He also lectures on steel piles and foundations in different universities.
