Ruukki upgrades load-bearing sheet production line in Anderslöv, Sweden

Ruukki Construction, part of the SSAB Group, has upgraded its load-bearing sheet production line in Anderslöv, Sweden, and can now also supply its customers with stronger T130M load-bearing profiles in addition to the former T130 profiles. The investment of approximately SEK 4 million in the improvement of the production line strengthens Ruukki’s ability to supply strong and light micro-profiled roof structures for customers’ commercial and industrial buildings, especially in the Nordic countries.
Ruukki uses high-quality raw materials to manufacture load-bearing sheets in a range of profile and coating options. Load-bearing profiled sheets are used as a roof or load-bearing structure in, for example, industrial buildings, sports centers, office buildings and renovation projects.
“The investment improves our capability to serve customers especially in the Nordic countries. So far, we have manufactured T130M profile only in Vimpeli, Finland. This investment now enables us to deliver products closer to our customers in Sweden and Norway as well as, together with our Finnish colleagues, improve our delivery capability to all customers during busy peak times,” says Miki Simic, Unit Manager, Ruukki Anderslöv.
Ruukki Anderslöv specializes in roll-formed metal and has been manufacturing profiles for customers’ products for about 70 years. The factory’s product offering ranges from 20-millimeter-long electronic parts to 18.5-meter-long roof profiles. Ruukki Anderslöv has approximately 70 employees, serving customers mainly in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark.
