April 29, 2011 8:05 CEST
David Britten, President of SSAB Americas, leaves the company to take up a position with a US based steel company. He will be temporarily replaced by Steve Hansen, PhD and Chief Technical Officer, until a permanent successor has been appointed.

- David Britten has done very good work for SSAB. During his tenure, SSAB Americas has developed strongly and showed a very good profitability, says Martin Lindqvist, President and CEO of SSAB.

- It has been a privilege to have had the opportunity to work at SSAB. SSAB is a great company with a wonderful future, says David Britten.

David Britten succeeded John Tulloch as head of the American operations in 2008.

- Our ambition is to appoint a new head of SSAB Americas soon, says Martin Lindqvist.
