Hardox® pipes and tubes now available locally in Spain

Wear performance that leaves mild steel well behind

Hardox® pipes and tubes outperform mild steel several times in concrete and cement plants, the chemical industry, steelworks, foundries, and recycling companies – to mention some of the industries where Hardox® pipes and tubes add valuable service life.

In one of our field trials, Hardox® 500 wear pipe has been tested against mild steel pipes in concrete pumping. With pipes of the same thickness, Hardox® pipes lasted 4 to 5 times longer. In another comparison with concrete, an 8 mm thick pipe in mild steel went up against a 5 mm thick Hardox® 500 pipe, and Hardox® 500 pipe still gave twice the service life.
