Updates for PileWallCalc designer tool

September 19, 2024 6:57 CEST
PileWallCalc, the calculation program for SSAB steel retaining walls has been updated. Thanks to this update, the geographical coverage of the program has expanded.

Already several updates during this year

The fully renewed web based PileWallCalc was released in January 2024. Since the release, there have already been five updates. Each update usually consists of several smaller topics that are updated simultaneously. Some of these updates involve fine-tuning the program, and some have been minor bug fixes. Besides those, the selection of available steel grades for certain pile sizes has been modified.

Expanding geographical coverage

The latest update for PileWallCalc expanded the geographical coverage of the program by adding the Danish National Annexes to the program. The version number after this update is 6.0.0.0.

Thanks to the web-based application, there is no need for users to install anything on their workstations. All updates are always immediately available to all users.

Both calculation programs for SSAB pile products, PileCalc and PileWallCalc, are available for free at SSAB Tubular Design Tools. From the same place you can also find FrameCalc and FrameFEM design tools for steel structures.
