SSAB's new Head of HR

Monika Gutén has been appointed as the new Head of Group Human Resources at SSAB. She has previously been Head of Human Resources for the company's largest business area, SSAB EMEA. Monika Gutén will be a member of SSAB’s Group Executive Committee and takes up the position immediately.

"Monika Gutén possesses solid industry experience and has worked with strategic HR and business development in global organizations. I'm convinced that she will contribute to SSAB's continued development as a successful steel company," says SSAB’s CEO Martin Lindqvist.

Monika Gutén is aged 35 and holds an M.Sc majoring in Business Administration from Stockholm University. She began at SSAB in 2007 and has been Head of Human Resources for the EMEA business area, and has also worked with business development. Monika Gutén has previously held various positions within Sandvik and Ericsson, focusing on operational and business development.

Monika Gutén succeeds Anna Vikström Persson, who has been appointed as the new Head of Group Human Resources at Sandvik.
