The acquisition of SSAB HardTech has now been completed

At the end of December, Gestamp Automoción received relevant regulatory approval to acquire SSAB HardTech. The transaction was carried out as per the end of 2004 and full payment was received on 4 January 2005. The capital gain is estimated at just over SEK 800 million and will be reported in the financial results for 2004. The Spanish company Gestamp Automoción manufactures and supplies components to the automotive industry, including rear axels, complete door assemblies, switch panels, bumpers, A- and B- pillars and chassis subassemblies.
