This heavy-duty mining truck was redesigned and upgraded using Hardox® 450 in the tipper body. By reducing the material thickness and removing extra stiffeners, the weight of the tipper body was reduced by 40%. This increased transport capacity and lowered fuel consumption. At the same time reducing the tire wear and downtime.
