“It is very important to keep showing support for Ukraine as this terrible war continues,” says Martin Lindqvist, CEO at SSAB. “By donating materials we can do something to hopefully help people endure the tough winter. We also have employees in Ukraine, and the wellbeing and safety of these remain our top priority.”

The steel earmarked for stoves has been sent to Sarholms Plåtdetaljer AB to be made into more than 400 field stoves, one of several activities initiated by Väderstad AB. The roof profiles, flashings and fasteners donated will enable people in Ukraine to rebuild the roofs of up to 85 houses or make smaller repairs to hundreds of houses.

OperationAid is a charity that helps Ukraine. The organization focuses on identifying the most urgent needs, raising and procuring funds, and delivering humanitarian aid and medical equipment to Ukraine.
