The latest lightest dumper, offering 650 kg(1,433 lbs.) more payload thanks to Hardox® 500 Tuf
The ZD4 is a fourth-generation dump truck from Zetterbergs with a tipper truck body manufactured using Hardox® 500 Tuf. This new material has allowed for a 20%, or 650 kg (1,433 lb.), reduction in tare weight. The ZD4 features a new, streamlined design in which the base, sides and front wall form a single functional unit for extra high performance.
Robert Löfstedt, marketing manager at Zetterbergs, explains what’s different about Hardox® 500 Tuf. “It’s a hard-wearing material with high load capacity, enabling our customers to transport a bigger load each time. A haulier’s profit depends on how much they can transport. In this way, revenue increases while tipper trucks’ fuel costs go down,” he says.
