Download data sheet
Lloyd’s Register Grades AH32, DH32 and EH32 are higher-strength structural steels with a specified minimum yield strength of 46 ksi and specified minimum Charpy V-notch impact toughness properties.Applications
Typical applications include ships and other structural applications.
Width: Please inquire for plate widths less than 72 in. and inquire plate product over 120 in.
Length: Please inquire for plate lengths outside the noted ranges.
Thickness: Please inquire for plate thicknesses outside the noted ranges.
Tensile testing is performed in the transverse direction.
|Elongation A5 1)
1) See Lloyd’s Register Rules for elongation requirements for alternative tensile specimens.
|Test temperature(°F)||Min Longitudinal Average Energy 1)(ft-lbs)||Min transverse average energy 1)(ft-lbs)|
1) Tests are to be taken in the longitudinal direction. Normally, transverse test specimens are not required unless otherwise specified in the order. Generally, impact tests are not required when material thickness is less than 0.236 in.
No more than one value below the specified minimum average energy but no less than 70% of the specified minimum average energy value.
Minimum average energy for full-size specimens. Refer to Lloyd’s Register Rules for sub-size specimen energy requirements.
1) Carbon equivalent requirements for TMCP condition of supply only.
