General Product Description
DNV Grades NV A32, NV D32, and NV E32 are high-strength structural steels with a minimum specified yield strength of 46 ksi and specified minimum Charpy V-notch impact toughness properties.
ApplicationsTypical applications include shipbuilding and mobile offshore drilling units and structures.

1) Tests are to be taken in the longitudinal direction. Normally, transverse test specimens are not required unless otherwise specified in the order. Impact tests not required when material thickness is less than 0.236 in. unless otherwise specified.
No more than one value below the specified miniminum average energy but no less than 70% of the specfied minimum average energy value.
Minimum average energy for full-size specimens. Refer to DNV Rules for sub-size specimen energy requirements.
