General Product Description

ASTM A1018 is a standard specification for hot-rolled, heavy-thickness coils of carbon steel, commercial steel, drawing steel, structural steel, high-strength low-alloy steel and ultra-high strength steel. The specification covers steel coils in thicknesses of 0.230 in. to 1.000 in. A1018 High-Strength Low-Alloy Steel with Improved Formability (HSLAS-F) Grade 50 has a specified minimum yield strength of 50 ksi.

              1) One or more of Cb, V, and Ti may be added. When added the min for that element applies, if not added then there is no minimum requirement.

              2) Production only at “Limits B” for Cu, Ni, Cr, Mo.
