    General Product Description

    GreenCoat RWS Pro BT color coated steel is available in matt finish. It uses a patented bio-based coating with Swedish rapeseed oil, which is unique on the market. SSAB holds a worldwide patent for this coating technology (Bio-based Technology, BT).

    GreenCoat RWS Pro BT offers a high level of durability for rainwater systems using a double-sided coating (same coating is applied on both sides of the sheet).

    GreenCoat RWS Pro BT color coated steel is optimized for weather and wear resistance. It provides good protection against corrosion (RC5) and mechanical abrasion as well as very good gloss retention and color fastness. GreenCoat RWS Pro BT possesses excellent forming properties enabling very demanding folding even down to -15°C, allowing for year round installation at lower costs.

    Excellent weather resistance together with regular maintenance and the cleaning of rainwater systems can maximize the service life of the product.

    GreenCoat RWS Pro BT complies with current REACH regulations and is fully chromate-free.

    SSAB’s color coated steels are all manufactured according to EN 10169.

        1) Classification into corrosion resistance categories is based on blistering, delamination and damage on bend of the coating after two years exposure in natural outdoor testing sites as specified in EN 10169.

        2) Maximum steel thickness is 1.5 mm and maximum steel width depends on steel thickness. For other steel dimensions or steel grades please contact SSAB Tech Support.

        3) FAX fulfills the requirements of EN 10346 DX51D, PLX fulfills the requirements of EN 10346 DX54D.

        The product may have slight tonal difference between batches and especially if their time of production differs significantly.

        Reverse Side Coating

        Same coating is applied on both sides of the sheet.

        The technical properties apply for both sides. However, different sides of the sheet cannot be mixed due to the possibility of a visual difference. The reverse side may show wider variation in color and gloss.

        Reverse side stamping is not applicable for double sided products.
