Epoxy

Epoxy color coated steel from SSAB is available in regular and matt finishes. It is used in different indoor building applications, but also in other industries like inside walls for passenger buses. 

Epoxy color coated steel is well suited for objects that are later finished with the color chosen by the customer. It can also be used in indoor applications where wallboards or tiles are bonded on the surface. Light washing is enough as a pre-treatment. 

Epoxy color coated steel offers good adhesion and corrosion resistance.

The reverse side of the sheet is painted with a two-layer grey backside coating.

Epoxy complies with current REACH regulations and is fully free of chromates.

SSAB’s color coated steels are all manufactured according to EN 10169.
