Thesis and internship opportunities

Dozens of college students graduate each year after completing a thesis or an internship with SSAB. Thesis subjects vary, but are often connected to ongoing process or produc development projects. Many students write their thesis based on their learnings from working a summer jobb at SSAB.

Internships are also avaliable through select secondary and vocational schools.

SSAB offers hundreds of summer jobs for students from different educational backgrounds. Summer jobs are mainly located at our Finnish and Swedish production sites. These jobs provide students with practical work experience in the industry.

SSAB collaborates extensively with students and educational institutions, mostly those in technical fields of study. In communities near our largest production facilities, we participate in career fairs, where students have a chance to meet SSAB professionals from different functions.
