Employees tell their story

Eva Ramström is Process Manger of the steelmaking plant at SSAB Oxelösund.

She has six co-workers who follow up and secure that best possible operating praxis is kept throughout the production line and that required quality is produced.

-Our absolutely greatest challenge is to prioritize right. There is so much happening in production and we don’t have the time for doing everything that comes a cross our way. We have to make fast decisions and prioritize among our tasks. What work provides highest profit? Where are we most likely to really improve productivity? These questions guide us in our work and help us making tough decisions.

Eva is a graduated engineer in mechanical engineering with specialization on metallurgical process science and production technique. She worked earlier as a research engineer at MEFOS in Luleå before she was recruited to SSAB Oxelösund.
