Learning at Work (LAW) is aimed at integrating theoretical knowledge with practical work life applications.  Here one obtains a gauge of the degree to which education at school meets the needs and expectations of working life. 

LAW involves the student, under guidance at the workplace, exercising and developing his or her ability to apply and transform theoretical knowledge in practical activities and to master problems in the production of various goods and services.  Thus, the LAW periods constitute continued education which is located at the workplace.

 

The Qualified Professional Training arrangers in Nyköping have jointly designated "the LAW companies for 2005".  The best LAW courses were chosen through a vote by the students on the ten training courses in Nyköping.  The prize, in the form of a water drop, was awarded this year to SSAB Oxelösund.
