Time schedule for the rights offering

- July 26: Shares in SSAB trade x-rights

- July 30: Those persons who, on the record date of July 30, 2007 are registered as shareholders hold preferential rights in the rights offering. They will receive one series A Subscription Right or series B Subscription Right for every share of the same series.

- August 3 - August 23: Subscription period

- August 3 - August 20: Trading in Subscription rights

- August 3 - August 28: Trading in paid subscribed shares (BTA's)
