It is SSAB’s aim to maintain a leading position within the steel industry in the environmental performance of products and processes.
Environmental conditions for the operations
SSAB’s operations are covered by several hundred environmental conditions which, among other things, regulate production levels, emissions to the air and water, noise levels and rules regarding deposits. All production units comply with their respective local environmental requirements.
