A sandwich panel is a complete wall element extending from the inside to the outside of the wall. Sandwich panels are delivered as single ready-made elements ready for mounting on the frame of the building to produce an entire ready-made curtain wall. The basic material of a composite panel is metal-coated, prepainted steel sheet. Sandwich panels can be installed on a framework made of steel, wood or concrete.

Prelaq on walls

Compared to a conventional in-site built wall, it takes a fraction of the time to produce a similar curtain wall of composite panels.

Sandwich panels can be used for all types of structures, both simple and exclusive. Common applications include industrial buildings, warehouse halls, thermal power stations, halls for commercial operations, refrigerated premises and sports halls.

Attractive wall claddings that impart character to the building can be built with moderate resources and at limited cost. A number of components have been developed for decorating the wall surfaces, and numerous reference buildings are available in which the architect has used sandwich panels and other simple means to give the building a very attractive appearance.
