SSAB has a holistic view of people. As an employee you are offered continuous competence development and career opportunities are available throughout the entire company.
To improve expertise in several high-priority areas, SSAB offers training programs for several occupational groups. For example, technicians and managers are offered programs that include courses in business, leadership, business ethics, and labor law. SSAB also has networks for managers and technicians to increase the exchange of experience and establish contacts.

Several of our production plants offer opportunities to work out in a gym and in groups.

We conduct occupational safety training programs and underscore the importance of everyone taking personal responsibility for a safe workplace. We discuss attitudes and behaviors and the importance of reminding each other about things like using safety equipment.
We also carry out random drug testing as a key component in creating a safe workplace for all employees.
