Every summer, several hundred visitors come to Syd-Långö. Most of them are people employed in SSAB or Electrolux. Syd-Långö is a holiday camp with about 15 cottages and a number of rooms in Kaptensgården and Flottiljen.
Simple standard – the cottages have a toilet and a small kitchenette. The big dining-room building has common refrigerators and freezers to keep your own provisions. During many years, repair works have been in progress and each year there is some rise in the standard. Several cottages are now provided with both a shower and a refrigerator. Breakfast buffet and dinner are served in Kaptensgården’s dining room and the lunch is packed in a picnic hamper. About ten summer employees will see to it that your stay on Syd-Långö will be pleasant.
