SSAB now provides customers with access to advanced solutions that are market ready. SSAB Advanced Design Solutions consists both of construction ready kits and patented solutions in the form of licenses.
Advanced Design Solutions combines SSAB's strong brands with its broad expertise in how to make best use of high strength steel structures.
The products included in the Advanced Design Solutions are unique and represent the cutting edge solutions within the respective fields.

Four initial solutions

SSAB's launch starts out with four different offers: 

  • Rolled and welded pipes of Hardox and Weldox.
  • Safety box for storage of goods of Armox, Weldox, and Domex.
  • Arc Design – a patented flatbed design of Hardox Wear which is highly resistant yet weighs 30-50% less than the traditional design. 
  • Specially designed containers made in Hardox 450 for use in scrap recycling.

Wide range

The five solutions represent a wide range of product areas in which SSAB have pushed the boundaries, often in collaboration with customers. The rolled pipes are finished products which SSAB's customers can use in their designs. The safety box and the special container for scrap are kits with parts that are ready to be welded. The flatbed design, Arc, represents the possibility of using SSAB's solutions in the form of licenses and patents.
