Johan Heyden, is Vice President Marketing Northern Europe for LKAB, a Swedish high tech minerals group producing iron ore products mainly to the global steel industry. In the LKAB group he has served many operating positions, last as Vice President Marketing and before that as Managing Director LKAB Far East Pte. Ltd situated in Singapore.
LKAB is the world’s second biggest producer of high quality iron ore pellets for the iron and steel business. Before joining the LKAB group he also served at Inexa Profiler AB in Luleå as Technical sales and marketing including technical support.
He holds an MS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material and Processing from the Luleå University of Technology. He is born in Tranås in the southern part of Sweden, but lives now in Luleå together with his wife and two children after some years in Singapore. He is a dedicated skier going frequently to Riksgränsen in the weekends and tries to find time to practice golf in the summer.
