SSAB AB was formed in 1978 and has, through a successful and deliberate niche focus, developed inte on of the world's most profitable steel companies.
SSAB's organization is charaterized by a decentralized work method in which responsibilities and powers are, to a large degree, delegated to the respective business areas and subsidiaries. The Group's steel operations consist of three business areas SSAB EMEA, SSAB Americas and SSAB APAC,as well as distribution operations through the subsidiary Tibnor. Processing operations Plannja is part of SSAB EMEA.
SSAB is listed on Nasdaq OMX Stockholm and complies with its rules and regulations and thereby applies the Swedish Code on Corporate Governance (the "Corporate Code").
