”Where do I start?”

To be able to download the SSAB app to your phone, you need an Apple ID. You probably created one when you first bought your phone and needed to start it with iTunes.

If not, you can get an ID via your phone. Follow the instructions in attached link: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2731?viewlocale=en_US

”I’ve got an Apple ID, what now?”

If you have iTunes on your computer, go into Appstore and search for SSAB. The app will then appear. Tap on Free to start download. Connect your phone to the computer and sync your phone with iTunes to transfer the app to your phone. When the app is transferred you will find the SSAB icon on the phones desktop.

If you want to install the app via the phone, go to Appstore (you will find an icon on the phone desktop to use). Tap on the search icon on the bottom and write SSAB in the box that appears. To download, tap on Free to start the installation. You will find the SSAB icon on the phones desktop once downloaded.

”The app is now on the phones desktop, what do I do now?”

Tap on the app. When you first start it, new information needs to be downloaded. A box about this appears in the window. Tap on OK.After a few seconds the update is done. You can start!

”Which functions are available and how do I use them?”

First page that starts in the app is Products. Here you will find information about SSABs seven brands: Domex, Hardox, Docol, Weldox, Prelaq, Armox and Toolox. Tap on one of the names to find a presentation of the brand. You can then choose to tap on Workshop or Grades. You can also choose to go back to the startpage by tapping on the Products arrow in the top left corner. By tapping on one of the icons in the bottom you can quickly arrive at one of the other functions in the app. More information about these functions can be found further on in this instruction.

If you tap on Workshop a page with workshop pdf:s  with information appropriate to the chosen brand will appear.

If you tap on Grades a page with all product grades related to the brand are presented. By tapping on a specific grade, for example Domex 460 MC, a short description of the grade and a pdf of the data sheet with technical information can be found.

If you chose the function Events all events where SSAB is present will be found. By tapping on one of the events you will get more information. You can also save the event in your phones calendar by tapping on Add to calendar.

Via the function Contacts you will find all SSAB Sales representatives in the world. By choosing your country the appropriate sales person can be found. Are there more than one for the chosen country a list of all persons will be presented and you can choose one. When chosen a person you can add all information into your address book or send a message.
