ssab.com and cookies

On 25 July 2003, a new Electronic Communications Act entered into force.  The Act means, in brief, that a person who visits a website must be informed as to whether the website contains cookies, how these cookies are used and how they can be avoided.

Cookies are used on the ssab.com website. The type of cookies we use are called "session cookies".  These cookies are not stored permanently on your computer but, rather, are in the computer's memory whilst you visit the website.  When you visit our pages, the cookies are used to connect information between the server and your computer.  They disappear when you close your Web browser.  We save no personal information and are unable to trace information regarding our visitors via cookies.

If you do not accept ssab.com's use of cookies as describe above, you can exit the website and close your Web browser.

You are welcome to contact us if you have any further questions.
