SSAB employs 8,700 people in over 45 countries around the world and operates production facilities in Sweden and the US.


SSAB has been listed on the NASDAQ OMX Nordic Exchange, Stockholm, since 1989 and is on the list of the most heavily traded shares. Shareholders include Swedish and international institutions and private investors. The largest single shareholder is Industrivärden. Market value at year end 2008 was over SEK 21 billion.
